Basic pre-employment medicals

Crossland Occupational Health carry out these medicals on each organisations own sites and include consultation on past medical history.
All industries are targeted giving a baseline on entry to the organisation.





Annual medicals

Annual health checks are performed by qualified staff from Crossland Occupational Health where the organisation is performing hazardous tasks.
The reason is to be aware if there are any changes in the employees health.


 


Bi-annual medicals

All organisations are targeted with bi-annual medicals to help maintain a healthy workforce.


 


Audiometry screening

Where there is a noisy workplace, Crossland Occupational Health will go on site in order to carry out hearing tests so as to monitor and check there is no deterioration in employee's hearing. Usually performed yearly.


 


Asthma screening

In dusty environments we will go on site and perform annual lung function tests to ensure that there is no deterioration in employees breathing.


 


Record keeping

Records kept of all findings. All medical records are confidential, and kept on the organisations own site.


 


Counselling

Crossland Occupational Health can also provide a confidential counselling service in times of stress or generally, helping employees to deal with their problems, and thus aiding their overall well-being.


 


Drug and Alcohol testing

Controlled collection of urine and testing of such for drugs or alcohol, on an as and when basis, for those who have a drug and alcohol policy in place.
Pre-employment, post accident or cause/reason.
Crossland Occupational Health can also help formulate a policy, leading to a safer working environment.


 


Post accident checks

After an accident Crossland Occupational Health can come in and check all paperwork for post accident investigations, and counsel the first aider(s) involved, as and when required.


 


First Aid facility check

A comprehensive check and audit of first aid facilities and equipment to advise if right for the task and environment. It is a legal requirement to have the correct facilities for your employees, and fines can be very hefty.


 


Return to work - home visits

Crossland Occupational Health will visit employees who have been and are still off sick, to provide counselling and to help employers and employees understand the situation better, aiding the employees return to health.
