Pre employment screening helps employers to identify health needs of successful candidates, and the need for suitable adjustments.

Pre-employment medicals

Involve the occupational health advisor

• paper screening using established medical questionnaires
• phoning or seeing the employee to obtain further information where required 
• requesting further information from medical professionals where necessary
• feedback to the employer regarding fitness for work and adjustments
• performance of statutory medicals in accordance with the role

The OH professionals are able to discuss DDA issues if they are appropriate for the employee.

Leavers Medicals

We also offer a service of leavers medicals to assess the relevant health status of the employee on leaving employment.  We can then advise the employee of any ongoing issues that may affect their future employment. This process can help to reduce the risk of future claims against the company.
